It’s that time again! Feels like I posted the last podcast yesterday. Anyway, the animals have returned. It’s a refurbished menagerie all sectioned off in few groups with many dogs and a cat, sheep, fox, mole, rats, mice, rabbits, pigs, a bear, an elephant, and a humpback whale. Here’s the list of species featured in this episode. Enjoy but please don’t feed the animals, thank you!

Hi, Doc! I was just re-listening to a recording of the Anaheim 1977 show and someone mentioned it’s Snowy White playing the guitar solo towards the end of SOYCD (VI-IX). Is that true? I always thought it was Gilmour jamming out at those shows–especially the one in Oakland that rocks so hard!
That is true, it was Snowy
Wow! Wish I’d been there but I was only 8 years old
Another great show. It reminds me of this scene from WKRP in Cincinatti. Check this out. Ya gotta love Dr. Fever.

Without ‘Yet Another Movie ‘ again…
Canβt please everyone.
Sorry to disappoint!
That slow version of Small Furry… always gets me. The complexity of it, the layers… Pretty avant garde isn’t it?
Thank you as always, Doctor.
IT IS HARD TO FIND ANY SONG IN THOSE EARLY DAYS NOT BEEING CONNECTED TO ANIMALS,,,,,,,,,,29 OLUS SONGS CAME TO MY MIND JUST LISTENING TO THIS POD,,,,,,,CRUMBLING LAND WIT ITS EAGLE IS REALLY MISSED,,,,,,OR MAGPIE, BABOONS ETC,,,,,,ALBATROSS,,,,,TERRAPIN RATS MAISIE WOLFPACK ETC ETC,,,,,,
Well, you cite mostly birds and Syd solo works. The previous version of this podcast included more animals but they escaped. Another episode was all dedicated to the avian variety.
Animals 2.0 is a great, but, where are the tigers? I love that song. However, you did include an elephant. You gotta love Syd! Thanks so much.
there is one tiger on the pawl. π
….and where ‘lion’ from ‘Home’ and “horse’ from ‘Yet Another Movie ‘? π
Great Podcast.
I liked Animals 1.0 but this one is even better.
