Another great podcast! I, too, feel the Obscured By Clouds is one of their most under-rated albums. More is too, IMHO.
Also, I remember the blizzard of ’78. I was 6 and in Rochester, NY, we got hit from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. What a cold, brutal winter that was!
Am I the only Bostonian (does 14 years count after moving from California?) who not only doesn’t mind, but longs for these Nor’easter blizzards with massive snow accumulations? Bring back the Snowpocalypse of 2015!
I live and work from the “Comfortably Numb” status of WFH half-time and respect that others are very inconvenienced by big snow storms, but there is a sense of community that comes from everyone digging out simultaneously after the storm passes. You just have to experience it…
