Awesome stuff Doc (as usual). Saw this tour in San Diego at the Murph (which is no more!) We tried to run bases in the Padres infield and have some beers in the first base dugout before the show until security sent us packing for our seats. Great show.

I was saddened by your comments at the end that you are thinking of hanging up the mic for these. I will donate when the extra Christmas payment comes in. It would be very sad to see these always excellent shows disappear. Even if you scaled it back and did one every season it would keep us going.

Just curious, during the concerts, who did the talking to the to the audience-Roger or David? Have any whole concerts, where you can hear them chat to the crowd?
It was usually Roger. After he left the band, it was David. Every concert featured on this podcast has the banter.

You’ve solved a riddle for me. Ever since Rattle That Lock came out I have sort of felt drawn to “And then…” but I could never really understand why, it isn’t any outstanding bit of music. However, paired with “Golden Hair”, my absolute favourite of Syd song, I clearly understand. It seems like thy belong together, like DG wrote that as a sequel to the Barrett one. Thanks Doc, that was a real revelation!
