Live Earth

Show #89 Release date: 7. July, 2007

Here’s a quick cast from Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.  Roger just wrapped up his Live Earth concert appearance almost two hours ago.  During Another Brick In The Wall, a special white pig appeared with “Save Our Sausage” written on the side.

This was a great performance by Roger the band.  You can watch it on YouTube but please go to instead to watch any concert on demand and answer the call… sign the commitment… make the pledge!

No Drop of Waters

Show #88 Release date: 6. July, 2007

The last podcast stirred up a great thread.  I planned to feature the first Waterless Floyd gig but decided to do an experiment instead.  I have for you, Floyd’s last two albums.  Performed live (except Cluster One) all recorded off the soundboard, all arranged in the same order as each album.  This podcast was lots of fun to put together.  Hope you dig it.

Fillmore West

Show #80 Release date: 16. March, 2007

Pink Floyd’s stellar performance at the legendary Filmore West in San Francisco, 29. April, 1970.

“Recorded on Pink Floyd’s third American tour, this show introduced San Francisco to some of the newer material from the Ummagumma LP, and a taste of things soon to come on the Atom Heart Mother LP, to be released later that year. This San Francisco audience is particularly quiet and attentive, a fact that seems to have facilitated a more intimate, unique and focused performance than other dates on this tour” – Wolfgang’s Vault.   Show playlist.

BBC Early Sessions

Show #77 Release date: 2. February, 2007

I still love the BBC.  We continue along the same path as the last podcast but further back in time to the early days of Pink Floyd and their heavy, almost regular appearances for BBC’s Top Gear and Night Ride.  The podcast starts off with a “violence” request from Martin.

BBC Sessions

Show #76 Release date: 19. January, 2007

I love the BBC.  For this podcast we go back to London 1970 and 1971 but first we start things off with Cymbaline recorded live the same day as the famous KQED sessions in San Francisco on 29. April, 1970 at Fillmore West.

The first half of this podcast consists of a master live recording session done for BBC Radio One later broadcast on John Peel’s Sunday Concert three days later.  Here’s the playlist

Line Out

Show #39, release date: 9. September, 2005

Okay, you waited long enough, here it is, the first full podcast. For now this will be a bi-weekly show.

This one runs 121 minutes. Now I have to say, this is very odd getting used to because it’s so different than doing a live show on the air. I need to sharpen the axe a little.

Deep down I want to thank you for your infinite patience and willingness to wait almost four months for this to kick off.
I hope it wont disappoint you.

This show features only unique soundboard recordings, most of which are unreleased.
– A recording from Australia. Tennis anyone?
– Spooky sounds from Montreux your Mother warned you about
– Live8 comments from David Gilmour
– An Italian two-fer
– Three farm pigs running free in Berlin
– and lots more
