A Mixed Bag

pink-floyd-hdThis particular episode has no theme. Its just a mixed bag of recent sorts.  Go with the flow and enjoy the show.  As always however, the playlist is embedded in the mp3 file info.  Here’s the playlist.  I’m sure you’ll find it interesting.  Please let me know what you think!

  1. Hi Doc,
just wondered whether you would have more recordings from the Brighton Concerts 1972 – high quality sound just as The Travel Sequence – from DSOTM Brighton (1972)? Be great to know – and even better to hear!

  2. What an amazing rendition of ‘A Saucerful of Secrets’. If ever the band release recordings of all their pre-DSotM concerts (didn’t Pearl Jam do sth similar once, to prevent ROIO’s?), I will have to buy a copy of each single one of them just so as to have a full collection A Saucerful of Secrets versions…
    Great ‘Money’ mix too!

  3. Matt you definitely nailed it this tine. What a beautiful podcast! the version of shine on you crazy diamond towards the end (what concert waa that from?) And you always suprise us,at the end of the podcast. That was very cool! It was sooo great to finally meet you ,at the show. Just great times. Ps I feel much better then I did that night lol, and also a special thankyou for (you know what) soooo very cool! Hopefully we can meet again ,at the next round of shows, either with gilmour or waters. Thankyou again. It was, sooo much fun at that concert in nyc!!!!

    • It’s just me having some fun. I mixed in a little bit of the 94 soundscape. Money and High Hopes are also special mixes of mine.

  4. Is the RSS feed jacked up? My client is throwing errors and it’s been working fine for years. I’ll go ahead and download direct but you might want to check it out.

    Cheers!

    • Thanks for letting me know. I haven’t gotten any other reports of problems. Evenything seems fine on this end. Maybe try rescribing?

  5. Very good. Bag this fabulous mix of old Cluster into new What Do You Want, exquisite. The old never sounded fresher, the new never sounded so established (even Endless!). Ending in ‘I hear voices…’ I recommend this to all fans of good music. AL

  6. Thanks Doc. A nice one, as usual. Regulars mixed up with some oddities. This is why we love it and keep on donating, right?
